So like the developers, I guess we can just make the best of things. Also the fact Atlus were pushing the hell out of FeMC in the P25 marketing probably ensured they would port Portable over FES given the latter doesnt. Apparently P3FES code is a complete disaster to port over. Its the other aspects of FES they want, such as the 3D overworld and actual cutscenes. Portable is a lot closer to Golden gameplay-wise as well. Most of the angst isnt actually people desiring the answer though. Its hated for a reason, might as well get the story parts you need and move on. Care has been placed into moving it to the console. The best way to experience the answer is in a quick synopsis written by someone online. Persona 3 FES has always been the staple entry for many fans, leading to discourse as to which version of the game is the most deserving of being ported. It’s definitely not an entirely lazy port. There have been theories about the Persona 3 FES code being a mess or having been lost, but that’s exactly what I hear every time there’s a poor or missing port. Our guide will provide you with all classroom answers in Persona 3 Portable, which increase your character’s Charm stat when answered correctly. As usual, the questions are a little hard to answer without looking them up. If you’re like me, the question on your mind is, “What are we doing here?” Not in an existentialist sense, but rather, why is this not Persona 3 FES? Why the PSP version? Unlike the philosophical question of our purpose, there probably is a good answer for why we’re getting Persona 3 Portable instead of one of its console kin, but we don’t really know it. Nope, but the Desert of Doors does make an appearance for the Vision Quest, where you get to re-fight the Full Moon Bosses at much higher levels.
